Blogs are an increasingly important part of the media mix for PR professionals.

However, pitching blogs and working effectively to create online ‘buzz’ around a client or campaign requires a new approach. Very few bloggers welcome a press release!

At this interactive workshop, we will introduce key blogging platforms and technologies. We will also identify practical ways that PR agencies can:

find and identify blogs and bloggers in a specific sector evaluate blogs for popularity, influence and authority craft pitches that capture a blogger’s attention cost-effective ways to work with bloggers and promote your client use competitions, giveaways and promotions for maximum effect promote clients while remaining transparent and ethical

As an experienced blogger with knowledge of social media metrics and networks, I will also provide examples of successful social media PR initiatives, plus tips on the pitfalls to avoid.

This workshop is only available as an in-house session, and costs from £500 plus expenses for a three-hour session.
